Safety, privacy and responsible use of VenA

VenA organises nearby help without confusing it with official emergency response. The controls available depend on the authorised version; this website does not verify real-time alerts.

Controls

How risk is reduced

Review before notifying others

Before notifying others, review and confirm. The options and available time depend on the installed version.

Closing options

Check the closing options available in the installed version.

Editorial review

Official contacts submitted by third parties remain pending until reviewed.

Optional data

Photos, phone numbers and additional details are used only when the person chooses to provide them.

Alerts with sources

Regional features depend on available sources and do not replace weather warnings or official channels.

No ads in critical flows

The app policy keeps help requests, countdowns, responses, maps, PINs, registration and authentication free of advertising.

Official channels first

Police, firefighters, ambulance services and hospitals remain the priority in immediate danger.

Abuse and blocking

Patterns of false alerts or risky use can lead to warnings or blocking.
