What to do
- If still able to act, get help and ask someone to stay.
- Say what you took and show available packaging.
- Give location and symptoms. No phone or signal: ask someone to call from a safe place. Do not delay help to collect belongings.
- Do not drive or take more substances to “counteract” it. Ask someone to stay and tell responders what you took.
What to avoid
- Do not leave them alone even after improvement with naloxone.
