What to do

1. Warn others and take the site’s safe escape route. Stairs, not elevator.
2. Get away from smoke or chemicals. Outdoors, stay upwind if possible.
3. From safety, call and report the fire location and anyone missing.
4. Follow evacuation or shelter orders. Do not go in to search for people.
5. Child/person needing assistance: accompany only along safe exit, no re-entry. Unable to escape: give exact location/mobility to rescue. No improvised rope/unsafe stair carrying.
