Historical: suspicious vehicle

What to do

  1. A parked car alone does not prove danger. With a threat or signs of explosives, do not approach or touch the vehicle.
  2. Possible explosive: move at least 200 m from a small car or 400 m from a large vehicle. Seek solid cover and follow police directions.
  3. From that distance and out of sight, alert police.
  4. Possible explosive: wait far away, out of sight and away from glass. Return only on police instruction. Do not open doors or the trunk to investigate.

What to avoid

  1. Do not touch or open it. Return only after police clearance.
  2. Do not confront or approach to investigate. Your safety comes first.
  3. Appearance, origin, religion or disability are not evidence of danger. Describe specific facts.
