Severe abdominal pain

What to do

  1. Severe abdominal pain or sudden onset: call emergency services.
  2. Report bloody vomit, inability to urinate, chest pain or collapse. Have medicines ready.
  3. If unresponsive: call emergency services. If breathing is abnormal, start CPR with dispatcher guidance.

What to avoid

  1. Do not assume it is only wind or indigestion.
Child or baby unresponsive with abnormal breathing: child CPRAdult unresponsive with abnormal breathing: CPRUnresponsive adult breathing normally without injury: recovery position
