What to do

  1. Sudden extremely severe headache: call emergency services.
  2. Report weakness, unusual speech, confusion, seizure or stiff neck. Have medicines ready.
  3. If unresponsive: call emergency services. If breathing is abnormal, start CPR with dispatcher guidance.

What to avoid

  1. Do not wait for painkillers to work before getting help.
