Landslide

What to do

  1. Leave the flow path for higher ground away from its path.
  2. Look for injured people only from outside the flow path.
  3. Injured or trapped people: call emergency services from safety. Report location, numbers and hazards.
  4. Report damaged wires or pipes to authorities. Do not touch or enter to repair them.
  5. Unable to escape: request rescue with position/blockage. No moving mud crossing or return for belongings. Helper: do not enter. Locate from safety and report.
  6. Safe access only: attend breathing and severe bleeding first. No digging/lifting unstable debris. No signal: ask another to call from safety, without entering to find you.

  1. Do not enter the slide area. Another slide or flooding may follow.
